Nicki Minaj lights up the dance floor on “Turn Me On,” her second collaboration with David Guetta from the French producer’s upcoming album Nothing But the Beat (Aug. 29).

“I am so proud of what [Nicki] did on this record because we know her for those crazy raps but the other record that we have, she is singing like—oh man. The world is gonna be shocked. Because they don’t know her like this,” Guetta previously told Billboard. “And we came up with that amazing song and she just killed it.”

@wow, Yea it worked for Jay z because Jay had a crazy deal. He makes most of his money from consistent sales with a good deal and his other endoresements. The process has changed since Jay z.

Nicki is a female rapper and as you see, it’s lots of females rapping, but none came through for years before Nicki came in. People just aren’t giving female rappers a fair chance. She made it because of her versatility and work ethic.

I would rather she spit bars but I can understand her strategy too.

Damn, this is hot. It doesn’t sound like Nicki at some parts probably because I’m just not used to her singing over dance songs. This just further proves Nicki’s versatality. I like the bridge when she raps briefly. If this is released as a single I can see it tearing up pop radio for sure.

I really love this song. Nicki is in no way, shape or form going pop. She has such a style and personality that pop stars crave to have her on their songs.
