Rap-Up.com || Video: Bad Meets Evil f/ Bruno Mars

Eminem and Royce Da 5’9” ignite the fire within in the aspirational video for “Lighters,” their top 5 collaboration with Bruno Mars off the Bad Meets Evil EP Hell: The Sequel. The Rich Lee-directed clip shows footage of the Detroit MCs before they made it big, a blonde Em sitting on his couch trying to write rhymes and Royce rapping behind bars. They both escape their old lives and triumphantly emerge on the other side. Co-star Bruno plays the piano to the empowering tune as the sky lights up with lanterns.

Em is such a sellout now ha. Chrysler, Dr. Dre Beats, and that watch which keeps poppin up in every video…And his lyrics are weak (rhymes “up” like 16 times in a row)…Weak song from day one but pretty cool video…it is nice to see 5’9” doin well

Love the song and Eminem, but I still haven’t seen anything that can back up the title of “Best Rapper Alive”. His newer stuff is especially weak when compared to “Stan” and “Lose Yourself” among other earlier classics.
