Rap-Up.com || Lady Gaga, Beyoncé Among Forbes’ Most Powerful Women in the World

Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s domination of pop culture has landed them among politicians, CEOs, cultural icons, billionaires, and entrepreneurs on Forbes’ annual 100 Most Powerful Women list.

The “Born This Way” singer is the most powerful female celebrity in the world, according to the magazine. She sits at #11, beating out power players including Oprah Winfrey (#14) and Angelina Jolie (#29). Gaga reportedly earned $90 million in the past year and has close to 13 million Little Monsters following her on Twitter.

Not far behind is her “Telephone” collaborator Beyoncé, who sits pretty at #18. The 29-year-old singer raked in $35 million in the last year due in part to her endorsement deals with L’Oreal, DirecTV, VIZIO, and more.

The superstar singers join the powerful company of women including Hillary Clinton (#2), Michelle Obama (#8), Ellen DeGeneres (#55), Gisele Bündchen (#60), and Anna Wintour (#69).

Ok, so it took beyonce 10+ years, stepping on the shoulders of those other nameless dc chicks, years of male bashing, materialistic lyrics and pushing her crouch in the camera to accomplish this. Well Done. Only took gaga 3 years, alone with uplifting positive records. We see why Gaga is #11 and beyonce is #18… AND DON’T REPLY WIT NO BULLSHIT. THIS IS STRICTLY MY OPINION. :)

@Ready., First of all don’t come on a post talking sh*t and expect no one to respond. Beyonce has been on this list for the past 7 years since her solo career started & the second year she was no 1. Congrats to both ladies because in this sea of talentLESS chicks these two are doing the damn thing. Don’t get it twisted, they both have gimmicks w/ legitimate talent but Gaga is not all that original … google Madonna circa 1989 – 1993.

Beyonce should make records about issues,people, etc and not just for scorned/overly-emotional women. As long as beyonce has been out, it makes you wonder why she doesn’t have gaga status. Perhaps it could be some of the things i named or maybe ppl just respond to gaga more b/c she’s white & down w/ the gays… who knows? but bey could definitely step her game up, is all. she needs to hang up that ‘girls run the world’ type shit.
