Rap-Up.com || JoJo Unveils ‘Disaster’ Single Cover, iTunes Release Date

JoJo has traveled a long and winding road since releasing her sophomore album in 2006, but she’s finally ready to step back up to the plate. The 20-year-old singer plots her return with “Disaster,” the first official single from her third album Jumping Trains. The pop record, which is reminiscent of her past hits “Too Little Too Late” and “Leave (Get Out),” is slated to hit digital retailers on September 6.

Catch her performing the song live when she hits the road with Joe Jonas and Jay Sean on a nationwide tour. The 19-city intimate club trek kicks off in JoJo’s Boston hometown on September 6.

She has also partnered with HeartSOUL to find a new face for the junior lifestyle brand’s fall/winter collection. “I am excited to team up with HeartSOUL because fashion is a big part of my life and it’s great to share it with my fans,” says JoJo.

@Cranberry, So you support singers based on their photo? The song is called “Disaster”. You can tell they shot the photo on film instead of digital to give it some grit to fit the song. It is artistic & moody you SIMPLETON. NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE SHINY AND COLORFUL.

@JC, it is being sent to radio station on 8/29. then the labels push for airplay and it usually takes a while for the stations to actually start playing the record. it is all a process

Clearly, the cover was done this way on purpose. It is a relatively recent photo and I think the cover is great. Just be happy that Jojo is finally releasing a new song. We’ve all been waiting so long for this, so why should anyone give a shit if the cover doesn’t meet their standards? I don’t know about you but I’ve been waiting 5 years for this, so who cares if the cover “looks old?” Which it doesn’t.

i’m trying to figure out what’s wrong with the picture. looks fine to me. the font is cool.the look is sexy. and that picture is nowhere near old. her hair is black and waist lenght. she’s had dark hair before, but she didn’t let it get waist lenght til the end of 2010. therefore the pic is recent. regardless, it’s a given that the track will be dope. jojo IS worthy of the term slay.
