Beyoncé trumped every performance at the MTV Video Music Awards when she announced that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child.

“OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!” tweeted MTV.

Her rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE, adding, “I’m happy to say it’s true.”

The singer was glowing in red as she held her stomach and posed for pictures on the carpet. Photos below.

I’m just at a loss… How did her stomach get so big, so fast? I know she wore clothes that covered her stomach up, but for her GMA performance she wore a dress that showed her stomach for the most part and it was FLAT. That wasn’t too long ago. she used this to her advantage smh :/ she had to do it at the VMA’s ?? She wanted to be the center of attention .. couldn’t she just announce it in an interview or a photoshoot? noo she chooses to do it where there are millions of people watching the awards .. no wonder her album sales stop plunging, and her love on top went so high on iTunes smh , bit I’m glad for them tho, congrats, but it was a publicity stunt !
