Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj Performs ‘Super Bass’ with Taylor Swift [Video]

Following her appearance at the VMAs, Nicki Minaj hopped across the street to L.A.’s Staples Center to make a surprise appearance at Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” concert. The rap diva rose from the under the stage to perform her hit “Super Bass” with the country crooner, who helped popularize it with her viral video.

“Taylor started this ‘Super Bass’ frenzy and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart. I love you, Taylor,” said a blonde Nicki before the two embraced and walked offstage.

@Lala, bitter much? While I agree, Nicki seems to be taking the pop route. I have lost respect what little respect I had for her rap game. Taylor arguably endorsed and ultimately made Super bass Nicki’s biggest hit, making it a crossover hit. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

@Michael, Taylor Swift the country singer made a pop song a hit? no you need to get your facts straight, this song was endorsed by nicki minaj, and and her team. Taylor Swift had no part in making this song as big as it was. and so what if the song is pop, she is a rapper. Is she rapping on the track? yes, the shut the hell up, she never said that her album was hip hop. rapping is rapping the only difference is the beat.

@isabella!, get over your delusional standom. Some of Nicki’s lyrics are pure trash that make absolutely no sense. She may have good beats but some of her songs have no subtance like most other mainstream rap/hip-hop/urban music. TS is country-pop. Nicki herself said that it was Taylor who started the whole frenzy. Nicki’s team WOULD NOT have released it as a single if it was not for the free promotion of Taylor rapping that shit on radio and talking about how she loves Nicki. Get your head out of Nicki’s ass.
