i cant believe he didnt take the vma’s as a CRUCIAL opportunity to promote his album. he should demanded that they let him perform.I know his fanbase doesnt really stretch out to that audience but still… would have been a great look for him. someone dropped the ball there.

@fRANKLIN,
ROC Nation just don’t have that marketing or publicist team. It hurts my heart that Kreayshawn was out w/ 1 popular song & got into best new artist over him. He needs a fierce promo team. The talent is there. Can’t wait!

@EmNiks&Drzzy, Yes! Yes! Yes! There is no way! That J. Cole isn’t the best new artist… But then again Jay-z with reasonable doubt wasn’t taken by the mainstream soo maybe he’s following Jay’s Path and will take diddy on as ex. producer on his 2nd album lmao!

@Brionna, “lights please” is a really good song though, even if it’s old. Some people won’t go back and look into his mixtapes and hear it but it shouldn’t be ignored/wasted..
..I kinda wished Drake went back into his arsenal when he released “Thank Me Later”
I mean people SHOULD go back..especially to wonder what “Dollar and a Dream” pt 1 and 2 are about since three starts the album.
How cool that he got Jay Z and Missy on his firstttt album

@Chris, HAM was not video single and it was in the very early stages of recording …8 months before the album dropped….. plus kanye and jay are not new artists.
cole is a new rapper whose album is being represented by work out just 2 months before its release… it was given a video… and now isnt even on the album… just like who dat…cole is really dropping the ball with these failed singles. hopefully trey songz will help this dude.
