While Usher makes us wait for his next album, he teams with Romeo Santos for the bachata number “Promise,” the second single from the Aventura frontman’s debut Formula. The bilingual heartthrobs romanticize over Spanish guitars and a piano-laced melody. Ursh sings in English and dabbles in Spanish, whispering his name on the Rico Love-penned duet. We can hear the ladies screaming.
Well I don’t speak spanish so I can’t understand a word of what he is saying but I do like Usher’s part. His vocals are really smooth a it sounds like a nice love ballad but its kinda boring and I honestly couldn’t listen to the whole thing.
I’m sure it will do well outside of the states though, especially in latin markets.
