New Music: J. Cole - 'Neverland' + 'Heavy'

  /  09.05.2011

Any Given Sunday #5

With three more weeks until his album arrives, J. Cole drops two more songs for the fifth installment of his Any Given Sunday series. The Roc Nation MC takes flight on the Chase N. Cashe-produced “Neverland.” “Not on the album, but something you should have. Ride to it,” writes Cole.

“Heavy,” produced by Cole himself, sports a head-knodding electronic beat as the North Carolina native blows up his own spot with boastful rhymes. “No album to my name and I’m already hot/ You can see I’m pre-heated.”

Both songs will not appear on his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story, but you can download them below.
