Odd Future Lands Live-Action TV Series
Odd Future is headed to your TV screen. Adult Swim has announced that it has picked up a live-action series starring the hip-hop collective.
“Loiter Squad” is a 15-minute live-action show that features sketches, man-on-the-street segments, pranks, and music from the L.A.-based crew. It will air sometime in 2012.
The cast, including leader Tyler, the Creator and singer Frank Ocean, showcases their creative talents in this “Jackass”-style series from Dickhouse Entertainment, the Hollywood production partnership of Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze.
Fans can expect to get a peek at OFWGKTA’s first national tour, which kicks off September 28 in San Diego. They will also document their travels in the book Odd Future: Golf Wang, due in November.
