Rap-Up.com || Video: Monica f/ Rick Ross – ‘Anything (To Find You)’

Monica takes it back to the ’90s in the video for “Anything (To Find You),” the first release off her seventh album New Life, arriving November 29. The newly married singer lights up the dark warehouse with her smile as she sings the Missy Elliott-produced record, which samples Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?”

She keeps it ‘hood while rocking a designer wardrobe and performing scenes with a ghetto blaster. Rozay makes a flashy cameo, showing off his Jesus pieces in the Chris Robinson-directed clip. But we were still left longing for appearances from Missy and Lil’ Kim, who was removed from the song.

It’s makes no sense… Missy is busy trying to get her career back on track, she has no time to support FRIVILOUS ASS Lil Kim & her bullshit. Yes Missy & Kim are close, but that doesnt mean Missy wouldn’t appear in a video strictly because Kim is not in a song. She produced this song for Monica as she has been doing for Monica with some of her songs since 2003. She also produced Monica’s first single (Everything to Me) from her last album & wasnt in the video then??? smh

Yeah BORING!!..no shade Monica darling, but Ms Wallace did you a MAJOR DISSERVICE by pulling lil Kim off that track. Without her “Who shot ya POOOW I guess it was Cupid…..Bzzz leave a Stingah in yah FACE!!” that song/Video is a bit dull.
