Rap-Up.com || Fall 2011 Album Release Schedule

It’s that time of the year again. The music industry is banking on its biggest stars to deliver blockbuster albums during the holiday season. The fall lineup includes the long-awaited debut from Roc Nation’s freshman J. Cole (Cole World: The Sideline Story), the sophomore album from Young Money’s returning champ Drake (Take Care), and Mary J. Blige, who will continue her legacy with the follow-up to her 1994 landmark album My Life. Plus get ready for another round from pop princess Rihanna, who scrapped plans for a LOUD re-release in favor of an entirely new album.

Why is Rihanna releasing another fucking album? That’s 3 in 2 years: Rated R, 11/2009; Loud, 11/2010 and now a new album in December of 2011, that’s just ridiculous. This girl has only been in the industry for 6 years and is only 23 and is preparing her 6th album is just toooooooooo fucking much. I understand in 2011, you have to keep new music coming, but damn Rihanna, a album every year is too much. That’s why her sales are always stagnant, she doesn’t give consumers a chance to digest what they just bought. Rated R only sold 3 million WW and Loud is at 4.75 million WW, that’s NOT alot for one of the top females of this generation, her sales should be in the 6-7 million range per album because all of her albums are full of singles. But the 4 albums I am the most hyped about are Monica, Maxwell, Rick Ross and KiD CuDi. The albums that are confirmed to be released in 2012 that I most excited about are Ciara, Brandy and Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj a little bit.
