Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Finds ‘Love’ on New Single

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. The Barbados beauty is readying her assault on the charts once again with a new single.

“We Found Love” is reportedly the title of the first single off RiRi’s sixth album in six years. It was produced by Scottish hitmaker Calvin Harris (“Bounce”) and is scheduled to impact radio on October 11, according to All Access.

The as-yet-untitled album is due this fall. Rihanna has remained tight-lipped about details, simply describing the project on Twitter as “GangstaR.”

UPDATE: A rep at Def Jam has confirmed the information to Rap-Up.com.

If some of these other artists grinded the way she did (clearing my throat … Kelly Rowland) they would be just as if not more popular. Yes Queen Rihanna waited for Beyonce to be immobilized by her pregnancy to come for the crown. She’s had producers working on music for her for YEARS leading up to this moment. This is her time to SHINE.

The only thing that worries me is that Beyonce has pre-recorded a TON of live performances to play at award shows, late night shows, tv specials, etc. and also a TON of music videos so Rihanna is going to have to come harder than ever before. Luckily she has her big-screen debut in Battleship coming up and the first single from that soundtrack is supposed to be the “My Heart Will Go On” of our generation.

Oh and RiRi’s about to pass Mariah Carey’s #1s and a whole bunch of other records. :)

Why is everyone hatin so hard? The girl is 23 and young. This how she makes her money. Why wouldn’t she release another album? I am personally excited to hear her new material. Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Usher, Miguel, Big Sean, EVERYBODY is working on new albums. Nobodies complaining about them. Rihanna GET your paper & reign on these charts. As long as you are making music, I will always be a FAN. #RihannaNavy BITCHES!

BTW, I LOVE Beyonce just as much as Rihanna SO it would be nice if for ONCE PEOPLE could stop comparing each of them to eachother & respect them both for their individual talent. of Rihanna takes a break her #s will drop and she won’t be able to be on top as she usually would be .. look at Britney Spears her album hasnt sold 800k , she dissapeared for a couple years.. look at beyonce, her album hasn’t sold 800k either she left for a year n a half .. in this prd of time her last album I am.. Sasha Fierce been sold a million.. With so much new pop musicians coming in it’s hard to be on top when ur away.. look at Ciara shes finished , her last album sold 10k first week .. LOOK at Alicia KEYS !! .. so I what Rihanna is doing isn’t desperate she’s saying she’s here to stay !! can’t blame her..

@D-Bad, chile, Rihanna has to release a album every year because she has no talent so her label makes her release a album every year just to keep her name out there because they know once Rihanna takes a break, even for a year or two, people will completely forget about her and your comments about Ciara and Alicia Keys are null and void because they didn’t take breaks, there were outside factors that led to their last albums not selling as well as the first 2-3 albums. A. Keys got pregnant and stop promoting and Ciara’s label didn’t promote her and released the wrong the singles. Britney has sold 100 million albums and Beyonce has sold 70 million albums, they don’t need to sell anymore albums because Rihanna will NEVER EVER see those numbers, she’s only at 20 million with 5 albums, Britney was at 75 million with 3 albums and Beyonce is near 30 million with 4 albums and 40 million with 4 albums with DC3, so please take a seat. Rihanna releases albums when no other major female is out, sells her shit for 99 cents or 1.99 on Amazon and still has yet to get a #1 album #ThatsJustSad

This so funny! To end all this back and forth ish, one thing about Rihanna, her image & sound are forever changing (re-inventing). This allows the audience/viewers/listeners to never be exhausted by Rihanna because she don’t do the same things twice. As for albums a year, record labels will not allow or issue albums as frequently as rihanna is doing if you’re not on top. Labels don’t have that time and resources to waste on someone that’s a flop. Therefore, Rihanna can but out as much as she wants because she’s one of the it girls on top of this generation & so young.

Now personally: i don’t mind rihanna coming with albums and songs because she is fyah, her music is the ish she’s basically a hit factory. Why would i want her to stop especially when there’s lady gaga & katy perry which makes for a exciting and friendly competition. Rihanna are among those lady ladies that bring very interesting music videos. Plus Rihanna is 23 younger than most out there, girl has another decade to go before she’s done & even then i might not be tired. I have a huge bank account trust i will definitely carry rihanna to the top.

Rihanna is the best and all you beyonce’ fans need to sit ur assess down because she’s going to be out for awhile. Rihanna has consistently given us hit after hit and song after song it’s sad that she’s such a major threat to beyonce considering the fact that Beyonce’ has decades under her belt….EMMMMBBAAARAASSMMEENNT!!! and most of the neg comments is from…you guessed it, Beyonce stans. What do ya’ll have against Rihanna? She really bothers you that much? I would think that as much as YA’LL try to call out people for being haters, you would know how not to hate. I guess my expectations are to high.
