Game Talks Growth, Fatherhood, & Silencing His Haters on 'Last Call' [Video]

Game

Game chopped it up with Carson Daly on Friday’s “Last Call.” Among the topics discussed were the No. 1 debut of The R.E.D. Album, how the project evolved once Pharrell and Dr. Dre got involved, witnessing a gruesome shooting at age 13, how his daughter changed his outlook on life, how his son reacted when he visited Compton, and his response to haters.

“It’s cool to see haters shut up. Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, he fell off,'” said Game. “When people say you fell off, they don’t really know that I have kids and I have a family and I’m like chilin’ and nurturin’ and being a dad. I’m livin’ life.”

While it took him three years to release R.E.D., Game is already back to work on the follow-up, Soundtrack to Chaos. “I take extended breaks and every now and then I’ll come back to reclaim my fame and let everybody know that I’m still a force to be reckoned with.”
