Grab an umbrella. Bruno Mars pours his heart out on the stormy “It Will Rain,” the lead single from the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, in stores November 8. The Grammy-winning crooner imagines a painful breakup—that not even morphine can numb—over the haunting melody co-written and produced by The Smeezingtons.

“The Twilight movies for me [are] a love story. But it’s a dark love story,” Bruno tells Billboard. “And I think the best way to describe the song is: it’s the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up.”

@Q no… its called passion and emotion IDIOT. That’s what real music is about, especially if u listen to 70-90′s soul and r&b… because if he is than that means “straining” so is adele. And this is why people today think Him Adele and Frank Ocean are amazing because they don’t have all that “Auto tune, zero emotion, muted emotion” in their music.

I like Bruno Mars and I LOVE the Twilight Saga. However, I am concerned about where the placement of this song will fit in. They may just throw it in the credits like they did Paramore’s “Decode”. Anyway, the song might grow on me.
