T.I. Performs ‘Live Your Life’ with Taylor Swift in Atlanta [Video]

Taylor Swift and T.I.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards weren’t the only show where you could find the biggest names in hip-hop in Atlanta over the weekend. T.I., Nelly, and Young Jeezy were spotted backstage at Taylor Swift’s second sold-out show at Philips Arena on Sunday night. Following her performance with Usher the night before, Taylor took the stage with Tip to perform his smash “Live Your Life.”

“Singing ‘Live Your Life’ with TI tonight was unreal. LOUDEST screams from the crowd, 14,000 people, hands in the air- welcome back @Tip!!” tweeted the country sweetheart.

Tip has been making the homecoming rounds since his release from a halfway house on Thursday, visiting local radio stations, celebrating with his family and friends, and performing with Jeezy at Saturday’s Hip-Hop Awards.

Wow, T.I. and T-Swizzle collabo. Would have never thought…but respect to this chick for uniting the genres. She sang Rihanna’s part better than Ri IMO. SMH

Please stop saying that when there’s no evidence of such encounters.

I love how she’s so comfortable around him. Not trying too hard at all. Most women are trying to act all hard once they’re performing with a rapper, Taylor remains the cute, innocent girl that she is but with an edge. Nice to see things like this.

This is harmless, but I don’t see how this is epic, it’s far from epic, it’s awkward and very clutching at straws. When Big said you never thought that hip hop would take it this far he didn’t mean this. I mean, is this Trap Muzik T.I. on stage with the poster girl for Country Music? Seriously?

Nothing will be worse than Slim motherfvckin Shady coming out at a Rihanna concert, but this is is up there. All we need now is Hov to come out at a Britney Spears concert and Nas to come out at a Katy Perry concert and the circle is complete.

@ESCO, You’re ignorant. STFU and enjoy the music

    ESCO Reply:

@White Boy, I’m ignorant how? Because I don’t fall into the supposed bullshit about how mixing of the genres is so cool? Why is it cool? It might be cool for this new generation of plastic hip hop fans who don’t understand it’s relevance and importance on African-American culture, so its easy for you to see this as epic because you have no real understanding of what hip hop represents. One of the elite MC’s coming up at to perform with the face of Country music and the face of White America who would most probably spit on him if they had the chance is not epic.

@ESCO, So I guess Run DMC did the same thing when they collaborated with Aerosmith? It’s not epic, but it was all in good fun and smart for his brand to do.

    Tasha Reply:

@ESCO, get a grip! This is obviously two friends having fun on the same stage. It’s not to be taken so seriously. What is epic for me is the spirit of camaraderie she’s able to pull being a country-pop artist who’s kindhearted and friends with literally all types of ppl in various genres.

Lol seeing the video of her and Usher, and now her and Tip is priceless. And then Nelly & JEEZY of all ppl on deck backstage. And they kilt that performance, for a crowd of adolescent and teenage girls they sure got hype as hell when Tip came out, it’s cool to see genres united though. It don’t matter if Tip’s from the trap, retaining that mind state at all times is ignorant, and what landed him in jail twice. It don’t matter, he’s out now, I hope he stays out, and I hope he makes the biggest comeback of his career

So now this hoe wants to embrace hip hop? Where was her lily white azz when Kanye apologized and took way more heat than he deserved? This sh*t ain’t in. To top it all off, Nelly, T.I., Jeezy, and Usher prolly RAN A TRAIN on her flat azz just to ease her mandingo, lust-hungry desires. Here’s a tip Taylor B**ch, stop s*ckin the black d**k and get back to that short, pasty s**t you’re used to s*cking.

    [Reply]

    theTRUTH Reply:

@Real Issh, you sound like a real fool! Ye shot his own damn self in the foot with all his coonery. What the **ck is Taylor suppose to do? She has moved the eff on long time ago while this goon and his delusional fans are still living in the past crying like babies bout his irrelevant career. She doesn’t need to s**k a black d**k cause the b*tch’s been selling out stadiums and making millions “just living her life”.

    [Reply]

    Real Issh Reply:

@theTRUTH, No, actually Kanye West is doing better commercially now than he did before that over-sensationalized bullshit. Kanye’s last solo album did over 900,000 first week and Watch the Throne is the 2nd best selling album of the year thus far. So you do the math. This hoe is not relevant to anyone outside the country circle, which is relatively limited to the backwoods of TN, KY, WV, AL and OH. Oh, and Kanye just debuted his new fashion line at PARIS FASHION WEEK with many industry tastemakers and heavyhitters. Trust me, he has moved the “eff” on too. But nice try.

    theTRUTH Reply:

@Real Issh, lol pls don’t defend this cocky b*tch-*ss n*gga. I used to be a Kanye fan when he first came out, but after 1.5 year in the mainstream game his character just turned me off. His fashion line that has gotten mixed reviews you mean? FYI Taylor is a multi-platinum international selling artist and is the C.E.O of many business ventures i.e. Own line of greeting cars, Line of sundresses/L.E.I Jeans, Perfume venture, Covergirl etc. Your ignorance is showing boo boo. If Taylor was only relevant in the country scene she wouldn’t be able to headline two sold-out worldwide tours. P.S. Who’s in the top 10 on the Forbes list? And where is Kanye on that list? Take a seat to the left pls.

lmao @the sales argument. taylor has sold over 5mil with her latest album ww. Where the fuck is kanye bitchass with his latest solo project (mbdtw)? Around 2mil? Sit the fuck down.

  21. john

@Real Issh, Taylor Swift’s last solo album sold 1,047,000 copies the first week, and Kanye’s last solo album did not sell 900,000 first week, it sold 496,000. Check your facts first.
