Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Rihanna – ‘Talk That Talk’

Rihanna strikes a sassy pose on the close-up cover of her sixth album Talk That Talk. The pop vixen licks her lips as she grips her forehead on the attitude-oozing artwork for the standard edition, with the album’s title tatted on her arm. She also unveils a second black-and-white image for the deluxe, below, where smoke billows from her mouth as she gazes into the camera with piercing eyes.

The album, due November 21, features the single “We Found Love” produced by Calvin Harris. The Melina-directed video, which she considers her best yet, will premiere later this month. “Saw the first cut for #WFL video today! Aw man, brace ya’self! Made me tear up like a lil bitch!!!” tweeted RiRi.

The first one is dope! Reminds me of how albumcovers used to look back in the 80s. Not too cleancut, not too farfetched. It has an edge to it, with nice simplicity. The first cover is sassy, the deluxe one is artistic. I like ‘em both, but RiRi’s fearless character is why I’m still riding with her, so I’ma have to go with the one for the standard edition!

i don’t like either one. I’d rather have another one with the red curls in a another pose or something like..a pic from whats my name. i think that style would really fit the title

i saw u do better at photoshoots then this the first one looks like beyonce the second one just don’t cut it remember ur a superstar so go all out for your cover beyonce kept it basic but high fashion but not everyone can pull off the same thing

Enuf with this comparisons of Rihanna and Beyonce’, I’m tired of hearing it. But since we at it….let me make this clear.

To all the Bee fans, when Rihanna came out, they tried or they did copy alot of Bee’s style into her becoz it was the in thing and it was selling at that time….

But after GGGB, Rihanna turned the tables on the industry and she became more independent and more edgy and in control and she moved away from Bee’s style and the world started to notice and @ that moment she raised the bar to HIGH and she became a trend setter….

Ultimately, Rihanna currently is the leading pop artist, and when it comes to vocals and best selling material I give it to Bee, she’s quite a bussiness woman.

On the other hand, When it comes to creativity, Riri is the best compared to Beyonce, Rihanna’s material is not always meant to please everyone , and not everyone gets her.

Rihanna is more concerned with her art and of course she is also a business woman(and the is pressure from her record label that she has to sell) but unlike Bee, she enjoys creating art than making music that’s designed to sell….

Basically, these are two different woman who are in the same category(it’s like comparing Amy Winehouse and Adele or Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill) and they are different and they have their strong and weak points…..
Stop comparing them and embrace the good things about them…..
