« Dr. Dre Unveils Beats Holiday CollectionNicki Minaj Didn’t Charge Big Sean for ‘Dance (A$$)’ Remix Verse »DMX Doesn’t Regret Past Mistakes, Discusses Return to Music![]() DMX marked his return to the spotlight with a rip-roaring performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. As part of his comeback tour, the Yonkers rapper also stopped by “106 & Park” with Swizz Beatz to premiere his video for “Last Hope” and speak about reuniting with his fellow Ruff Ryder. Despite his public trials and tribulations, X is not looking back. “I wouldn’t change one thing,” he told hosts Rocsi and Terrence. “That made me the man I am today and I love the way I am.” When asked what he thought of today’s popular rappers, he responded, “I really don’t think about other rappers, no disrespect. I’d rather focus on what I am seeing, the message I need to get across.” On “Last Hope,” X rhymes over a beat which was previously used by Drake. “I didn’t know it was his song,” said X. “I heard the beat, the hook. I’m like, ‘I gotta beast on that.’ Thanks for bringing it to the table, I guess.” He is now back in the lab with Swizz crafting new material. “Expect the unexpected. Expect the new improved,” announced Swizzy. “Expect hip-hop. Expect real music. Expect the Dog to be back.”

he’s a legend but i still think he should have more respect for new artists… OGs are supposed to guide the new generation, not ignore and diss them.

@WatchTheThrone, Ok, I see your philosphy but all that’s changed since the Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj situation now the new generation thinks they can takeover and kill the people who influenced them, so what’s the point in trying when you know it’s hopeless.

I want to say I’m happy to see that he’s “back” but I think he’ll be behind bars again soon. He always finds a way to get himself into trouble.
