JoJo stopped by KTLA 5 in Los Angeles yesterday to perform “Disaster,” the first single from her upcoming album Jumping Trains. The 20-year-old singer, who recently wrapped her tour with Joe Jonas and Jay Sean, was joined by her band as she delivered the pop-rock tune.
“I wasn’t able to do things that other artists were able to do because I was so young,” said JoJo, who was 13 when she made her debut. “So now I’m able to go out, explore the world, work really, really hard, and just rock out with my band and tour.”

I hope that she takes a vocal rest soon because she’s not helping her vocal chords. I means she was sick and then went on tour. Her vocal chords seemed to have gotten better but now they don’t. I hope she recovers soon

Jojo is working sooo hard this year and the last, it definitely paying off. She got a co-sign from drizzy for the marvin room remix. She gettin mad reviews for her performances and released music. Her next album should put a dent in just about every genre of music and shoot up the charts

Sounds like her voice is tired from singing a lot, but I actually love the fact that her voice was cracking. It kinda worked. Any way, she sounded amazing and I love that song! She’s definitely one of my favorite singers of all time. Girl can sang!! I’m still bumpin The High Road CD!

most of your favorite singers don’t sing live even when they say they do or you think they do. That sh*t is pre-recorded in a studio and given a live effect so when you hear it everyone thinks it is live (they record the heavy breathing and all that mess in the studio to give the live feel). I give Jojo credit for actually singing LIVE. Go Girl…what you do is a lost art form.

man i love this girl! her work ethic and spirit are just amazing. i cant tell if she was sick or if her vocals were just a lil tired from touring BUT she still did a great job. i would suggest that she get back up singers though. . .cant wait for the vid and album!

He voice does sound very strained, but I still enjoyed the performance. I feel that the raspy-ness added some level of feeling to the performance. I still think she pulled it together and gave a good performance.
