Rap-Up.com || Iggy Azalea Paints a New Face on Hip-Hop with ‘Ignorant Art’

Straight outta Australia comes Iggy Azalea. More in your face than Kreayshawn and with a swagger like Gwen Stefani, the blonde-haired rapper has been making noise with her joints “Pu$$y” and “D.R.U.G.S.,” and remix to Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now.” Her most recent release is a nine-track mixtape Ignorant Art (download), made over the course of three months with her crew D.R.U.G.S. It was inspired by the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and aims to challenge the status quo in hip-hop with tracks like “My World” and “Treasure Island.”

“I made Ignorant Art with the intent to make people question and redefine old ideals,” explained the femcee.

Flow is good lyrics need a lot of work and even with good video editing i don’t see much charisma or star potential. If she catches a big contract it’s a sign real artists have got to push new genre’s sooner than later

I like her flow but she needs to work on her delivery. She needs to work on her clarity but i like her. With her, her colour isnt a gimmick. Which i like. I hope she improves andn works hard because i see potential.
