David Guetta brings the continents together—literally—in the video for “Without You,” his top 10 collaboration with Usher off his latest album Nothing But the Beat. The French DJ throws a global party—from the shores of Thailand to the golden coast of California to the plains of Africa.

“Every continent is [coming] back together and it’s one big party and there’s no more different continents, there’s no more different colors—we’re all the same and we’re all together,” explained Guetta. “That’s what the video is and that’s what the music is.”

He meets up with Usher as the celebration continues and the people of the world unite, dancing to one rhythm.

My god I used to LOVE Usher, don’t get the butterflies I used to get whenever I heard a new song of his. Ah well…but yeah he really should cut his hair, not everyone is meant to wear a mohawk. Those r going out anyway…IMO, so don’t kill me. Lol.

Love the song as always, but video is similar to Little Bad Girl.

Usher with a plain background dancing would be amazing. The live performance is better to watch

Im very disappointed in this video. It was pedestrian at best when it could have been amazing. Usher really needs to start dancing in his music videos again.

The continents coming together looked cool, but I couldn’t help, but think of all of the tsunamis and natural disasters that would occur and wipe out the majority of the world’s population if this were to happen.

As for Usher, it’s been a while since I’ve been impressed by a song from him. Everything he’s been releasing has been electro/dance. If the songs were kind of revolutionary like “Yeah!” where they start a new movement, then I’d give him props, but everything has been generic. Usher used to be a trendsetter. Wake me up when that Usher returns.

Love the video. Usher dancing would of been cool but I like that he took a backseat because even though he is featured on the track it is David’s record. So, let David shine.

@RonnieRon: you are exactly correct. I swear people complained when he made an all R&B album “Here I Stand” because it was too mature, now some are complaining that he made some techno/ house songs. He’s not going to please everyone, but frankly his songs end up being hits anyway and he sells out arenas.

Raymond v Raymond has a few R&B songs on but people still complain because its not his radio stuff. Get over it. He can come out with music as he chooses. If he stayed with the same sound, he wouldnt stay as big as he is…
