Video: Miguel – ‘Girls Like You’

Miguel

Girls, girls, girls. Miguel serves up plenty of eye candy in the alluring video for “Girls Like You,” a cut off his debut album All I Want Is You. The stylized visuals call for lights, smoke, and super-hot women as the R&B crooner ignites the screen in his signature thick-framed glasses and glowing mic stand.

“I was very hands-on in the execution and the creative elements—from casting to the treatment to choosing the director and cinematography, the entire theme—it’s kind of my brainchild,” explained Miguel, who co-directed the clip with Alex Moors.

The singer is already back in the studio working on his second album, tentatively due in March/April 2012. “Think electronic hip-hop meets classic rock meets great songs,” he told Rap-Up TV. “I’m excited to discuss a few topics outside of the romantic experience, but still keep it very relatable.”
