Rap-Up.com || Jay-Z and Kanye West Announce Additional Tour Dates

The people have spoken. Due to overwhelming demand, hip-hop powerhouses Jay-Z and Kanye West have added four additional dates to their highly-anticipated Watch the Throne tour, including two in New York City.

The 33-date trek, which kicks off October 28 in Atlanta, will hit Madison Square Garden on November 7 and 8. A second Chicago show has been added on November 30 and the duo will return for an encore at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on December 13.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale October 21 at 10 a.m. local time. See a full itinerary below.

@cece, did he want a kid? sure, but they both did. and they’re both consenting adults who knew what they were doing when they conceived. LET’S BE FOR REAL. plus if you look carefully at the dates you’ll notice that it as 33 dates, a little over a months worth, over the couse of nearly two months. so i’m sure he’ll be stopping back home pretty often. he can afford it, he has the means to do it, and i’m sure he will take advantage.

also, if you look around the ny area dates you’ll see that after the d.c. date (the one i’m going to!!!!!) he has TEN DAYS worth of time in the NY area. i highly doubt he would go to a jersey date and stay away from his wife. bey is well taken care of and so is that fetus. i’m sure she will be sad to see him go, but they’ll make it work.

@Yeezy & Hova, I have to agree with you, that Kanye West deserves to win Grammy Awards this year. I believe that Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy deserves to win Best Rap Album, and Best Album of The Year at 2012 Grammy Awards, since MBDTF was the best, greatest critical-acclaimed album of the last 2 years. If Kanye West’s MBDTF album doesn’t win Best Rap Album, then Kanye West/Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne album should win Best Rap Album since Watch The Throne got decent reviews. Don’t be surprise if the Grammy Awards try to screw Kanye West by nominating Watch The Throne for Album of The Year, instead of MBDTF which is a much better album, just so MBDTF wouldn’t win at all. Don’t be surprise if Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter 4 got nominated for Album of The Year, so the Grammy Awards can try to screw Kanye West again. Lil Wayne deserves credit for selling a lot of records, but Tha Carter 4 got bad reviews from professional music critics left and right. Lil Wayne is popular with young music fans, biased mainstream pop fans, biased mainstream hip hop fans, and biased mainstream media fans. If the Grammy Awards knows real music, they will give Kanye West a lot of Grammy Awards for both of his two albums this year.

Wish they could consider coming to Africa too. They have a lot of fans the world over. Africa has always shown love to these two bright talents. Probably their schedules wouldn’t allow them to take the tour out of Stateside. I reluctantly understand.
