Rap-Up.com || Video: Rihanna – ‘We Found Love’

Rihanna gets high on love in the powerful video for “We Found Love,” the first single from her sixth album Talk That Talk, due November 21. The Barbados beauty heats up the screen with boxer-model Dudley O’Shaughnessy in the Melina-directed mini-movie, which was shot in various locations throughout Northern Ireland. The wild couple experiences the many thrills of love, but their relationship soon takes a dangerous turn.

“We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done,” said Rihanna. “It’s all about love and love being like a drug, you definitely get that from this.”

I’ve always enjoyed music by E.Badu and Lauryn Hill and India Arie(music that makes you think) and my friends always question why I like Rihanna so much? But, personally I like the fact that she’s fresh, edgy and does her own thing.

Unlike other pop stars, Rihanna stands out. Just like E.Badu, Rihanna is an artist and she is dedicated on her art. Even though Riri might make money in the process but she cares about the quality of her work unlike some pop stars who seem to take 1 minute to write a song and 2 minutes to record it and 5 minutes to shoot a video…..and then they cause scandals to promote the album.

I have respect for her, however, this video is meant to do good, but I don’t like it when the media(movies,tv etc) makes something that destructive or dangerous to oneself seductive and seem like it appealling…..

That was such a ride. I haven’t seen a video that held my attention in a long time. I am over 30 and i have a six year old, and it is not a video for her to watch. But being i am the mother and not rihanna so i monitor what she watches. Rihanna is not a child anymore let her grow up and express herself like everyone else.
