@listen, WAIT wait wait she’s already released an album? and with album sales in the last 10 years you have factor in the fact that barely anybody buys ALBUMs anymore so 200,000 would be like a decent album 100,000 would be a bad album and 90,000 and less would be “DAMN why’d you even put that album , you have this back”

i like her music but i cannot stand that piercing she has! to me, it seems like she just felt she had to have something “different-looking” about her to make her stand out but i think it hurts her more than it helps.

@@matt_hamrick, I doubt she got a piercing as a gimmick, and kept it for over 3 years. If you knew anything about her, and stopped relying on your clearly wrong opinions, you would know everything about her is different, like her long ass nails and the way she dresses. She’s always expressed herself the way she wanted, even with the abstract kind of sound she has in her music, and I think(know)she pulls it off well.

Yup! i see a girl who is trying too hard to stand out and seem different. That piercing does nothing for her, regardless of whether it is a gimmick or not. I just think her face could do without it. She’s a pretty girl though. Long ass nails have been done before, rewind back to the 90′s when SWV did it, and they were way longer than that. But let’s face it, It is becoming apparent that “originality” of the image is more important today. Everybody wants to look different, and to stand out so some of these images are created just for the hype, just for that celebrity factor. I can’t say whether that is the case with shanell though…who knows?

@Credits, You sound like a moron! She has no special piercing, she has a simple nose piercing with a chain connecting to a regular ass ear piercing. SMH. She doesnt even try 2 be different, her look is kind of basic, thats why no one is really checking for her. She has a nice voice & a nice look, she brings nothing special. Shes ok but she has no real place in the music industry. Just another ok looking female singer with an okay voice. NEXT

I love the instumental col & dre did good on this one. shannell sounds great singing on it. I wish this was all hers though,like an actual song with lyrics. I hope she think back on it one day and just add some more of her singing lyrics just a full song of shannell and thats it.

She sounds so good on this track! I’ve liked her even before she signed to Young Money and I hope she gets a hit somewhere down the line, and this just may be it! She did a song like 4 years ago called “Night Shift” that I still play every now and then. It’s such a good track!
