« Video: The Roots f/ Big K.R.I.T. – ‘Make My’New Music: Pusha T f/ Diddy – ‘Changing of the Guards’ »Wiz Khalifa to Showcase ‘Hardest Raps Ever’ on Second Album![]() Wiz Khalifa scored crossover success this year with his Atlantic Records debut Rolling Papers. Now he’s back in the lab working on his second album, offering fans a hint at what’s to come.
“I’m Really Excited About My Second Album. U Guys Are Gonna Really Enjoy This Music,” tweeted the Pittsburgh rapper, who’s currently touring in Europe. “These Are My Hardest Raps Ever.” Rolling Papers, which spawned the chart-topping single “Black and Yellow,” entered at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 197,000 copies, but drew criticism from some for being too commercial. Wiz intends to silence the naysayers with his next album, due in 2012. In recent weeks, he has released freestyles over Wale’s “Bait” and Meek Mill’s “House Party” beats. Early next year, he will star alongside Snoop Dogg in the stoner comedy Mac and Devin Go to High School. TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 19 CommentsLeave a Reply

Actually, I thought the commercial aspect of his album was its strength.
I mean it can’t be that easy to make catchy music that sells (or else everyone would do it), and he managed to accomplish that.
when it’s not broken you dont fix it I’d say..

@Richard, of the new generation rappers? uh, that would go to kid cudi honestly he gets a lot of hate here in rap up but if you listen and try to understand his songs they’re REALLY complex i’ll admit it at first i didn’t like him but after understanding his messages in his songs i’m a huge fan now… but wiz has simple lyrics his mixtapes are good but non can be compared to A Kid named Cudi give it a listen if you liked some of the early wiz stuff i’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
