DMX checks in with Dr. Drew on his daytime show “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers.” The hip-hop veteran opens up about his dark past with theft, drugs, and alcohol, as well as his rough childhood, living with an abusive mother.
With a new outlook on life, DMX reaches out to help a troubled young man that is following in his dangerous footsteps. The Ruff Ryders rapper shows him two potential paths, violence and prison or a chance for a productive life. The young man is also introduced to a producer and offered a life-changing proposition.
During the two-part episode, DMX will perform his gospel single “Keep Ya Head Up” for the first time on television.
The shows airs Wednesday, November 9, at 3 p.m. EST on The CW. Watch a sneak peek below.
I love the he!! Outta DMX wit his sexy ruggedness..
He’s made a lot of f’d up choices but he’s human & no1 is perfect. I hope he Sticks around 4 awhile & sho’em how its really done! Welcome back DMX!
Thank you for today’s show. You have redeemed yourself! DMX and Caviar thank you too. And to Ravon’s mom, thank you for seeking. Some children can weather through ass-whippings and some cannot, this happens within the same family. Dr. Drew, thus a feel good show, you made an IMPACT on your guest and viewers as well. Give yourself a pat on the back too.
