Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber Shut Down Macy’s for Christmas Video

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without Mariah Carey. The festive diva teamed up with Justin Bieber to shoot a video for their remake of Mariah’s classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” on Wednesday (Nov. 2) in New York City. The “SuperFestive!” version of their duet appears on Bieber’s holiday album Under the Mistletoe.

The superstars shut down Macy’s for the late-night shoot directed by Sanaa Hamri (“Crybaby”) and even got some early Christmas shopping done.

Roc and Roe’s mom modeled a glamorous look inspired by a vintage animated Christmas card as she shot scenes in a sleigh, while Bieber dressed for the season in a flannel shirt and red vest.

They were joined on set by Mariah’s puppy Jill E. Beans and “American Idol’s” Randy Jackson, who helped put the collaboration together.

While I’m streaming through YouTube her songs are being covered (worldwide) and even local artists imitates her singing style.. I’m not from Europe nor America but when you tuned in from radio stations here in our place there is no single day that you can’t hear from her..

It’s the content of her songs that made it #1′s not it’s melody.. You know what’s weird, songs with repetitive lyrics + dancing beats + foul words that topped the charts..

Her lyrics have a big impact to it’s listeners, and if you can’t feel that impact, you obviously can’t relate to her songs..

It’s not about people trying to copy her, but she’s not irreplaceable, her voice is what makes her famous, but this is something that so many others can have, there’s nothing that makes mariah unique or irreplaceable. Some of her songs are good, and they had a great impact thanks to her songs not her generic lyrics and why bashing on dance songs ? if mariah does not have the ability to make dance songs, it doesn’t mean dance songs are bad, music is a large world and seriously if i want to listen to some ballads, i would choose whitney or celiene dion over her.

I was one of the extras in this videol We started at 10pm. It was all staged. People arond her are all extras. They kept all of us waiting from 10 until 9 in the morning when we finished for just one shot at the end. Organized very badly. Sine MC did not like the stage, people had to change everything just to please her. In the meantime all extras were waiting and waiting. Finally around 7:40 they said the first 25 background come. We finished at 9 because Macys had to open.
This is not the way to do things.
