Rap-Up TV: Wale Shares Hopes for Tour with Drake, J. ColeWale has a lot to smile about these days. The Maybach Music rapper is poised to enter at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with his sophomore album Ambition. We caught up with him during his trip to Los Angeles this week, where he shared his admiration for Drake and hopes for a joint tour with Drizzy and J. Cole. While he has yet to hear Drake’s sophomore album Take Care, he plans to buy 20 copies when it drops. “I love his music, man. I love what his music stands for,” Wale told Rap-Up TV. “You gotta start talking about Drake after this album, if it delivers, as top 10. … Dude makes incredible music and he’s one of my favorite rappers.” The two have recorded one song together and Wale is also thinking about doing a remix. “Me and Drizzy do have something coming,” he teased. Also on his wish list is a joint tour with his peers. “I talked about doing a tour. I told Drizzy about it. I said, ‘Yo, me, you, and Cole should do a tour. I don’t care if I gotta go first. I’m all about the fucking culture. This is gonna be like the ‘Hard Knock Life’ tour of our generation.” TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 14 CommentsLeave a Reply

Take Care>>>>>>>
A GREAT album from beginning to end. As of now, I intend to buy it.
I still haven’t listened to Ambition but its on my to-do list.
I don’t like joint tours and performance wise, non of them are where they need to be but 3 artists who are pushing themselves and putting out great albums.

Take care is a good album despite the fact that its 80% singing…Im buying it and im not even a Drake fan like that…its better than J.cole’s and Wale’s album…
j. cole is still the better lyricist tho IMO
Wale just gives me Drake 2.0 i cant get into him despite my efforts

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to know so much approximately this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I feel that you could do with a few percent to drive the message home a little bit, however other than that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
