Rap-Up.com || Lil Wayne and Young Money Represent at MTV2 ‘Sucker Free Awards’

Hip-hop headed South for the inaugural MTV2 “Sucker Free Awards” at LIV Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Friday (Nov. 11). YMCMB represented with its roster of talent including Lil Wayne, who was nominated for Artist of the Year and Classic Album for Tha Carter IV. Rick Ross didn’t have to travel far to catch the show, which was held in his own backyard.

Following sets from Lil Twist (“Turnt Up”) and Tyga (“Rack City”), Weezy hit the stage with Birdman in an oversized yellow ski hat, giraffe-print pants, and yellow fanny pack to perform the Cash Money CEO’s single “Y.U. Mad” off his upcoming album Bigga Than Life.

Jay-Z and Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Odd Future, Drake, and J. Cole are among the nominees for the show, airing December 4 at 11 p.m. on MTV2.
