While the Black Eyed Peas take a break, will.i.am is stepping out solo once again. The Grammy-winning producer and songwriter has announced a new solo single and album.
#willpower, the follow-up to his 2007 effort Songs About Girls, will arrive in 2012 on Interscope Records. Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger appear on the first single, “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever),” which he will debut live with Lopez at the 2011 American Music Awards on Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Produced by the Peas frontman, Audiobot, and Dallas Austin, “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)” will be available on iTunes immediately following the performance. A video for the electro-pop song, directed by Rich Lee and filmed in Los Angeles and London, is set to premiere later this month.

The song has already leaked. The sing is so weak. I expected more from such a talented producer like Will.I.am.
But still…The kids gonna buy it.
