Introduced by 50 Cent as “the main event,” Chris Brown gave a heartfelt performance during the 2011 American Music Awards, letting his vocals do the talking during “All Back.” Wearing a white tee, black pants, and shiny shoes, the blond singer fronted a rock ensemble as he serenaded the crowd, kicking it into full gear with “Say It With Me.” Sliding into a white jacket, Breezy whipped across the stage as he sang the empowering song, channeling Michael Jackson while throwing a few moonwalks into his stride.

Loved watching CB but the rest of that thing was basically a white music awards show. And they screwed Chris Brown out of that Fave Male RnB artist – didn’t even announce it (only one not announced) and then turns out award went to Usher! What did Usher do this year? Chris had four hit singles and killed it for 2011. Has a million fans that all did their voting. How the f**** did Usher win?

I got to see Jennifer Lopez whom to me did a damn strip tease act and you wake up that’s all you hear about is her performance. The AMAs has always been about politics, the reason CB didn’t win an award in which he should have. I’m glad for the BET Awarda, HipHop Awards and Soul Train awards that recognizes the talent in African Americans! With the AMAs, Grammy’s and Bilboard it’s a popularity contest. The only reason I was going to look at the AMAs was only for Chris Brown!
