Rap-Up.com || Video: Beyoncé – ‘Dance for You’

Beyoncé tempts and teases in the black-and-white video for “Dance for You,” The-Dream-produced cut off the deluxe edition of 4. The screen siren puts on a private show for her man in the film noir-inspired visuals. The video, along with seven others, can be found on B’s two-disc Live at Roseland: Elements of 4 DVD, in stores November 29.

However what is interesting is the fact that despite not having a #1 hit on 4, her first & second week sales did more than what your fave’s first week sales are projected to be. And yes they are obsessed with Rihanna, cause I never mentioned her name once. My fave is someone who built the house that this cloney temporaly lived in. Tell her to do something groundbreaking or atleast creative if she wanna be respected as an Icon, creat stop copying and oh yeah take off that onesie & CLOSE YOUR LEGS. Shes wore a onesie now for 2 yrs in a row so I personally could never take her serious, between that and the crotch shots she use to tell the camera man to get, she disgusted me to a place of no return.

If any of you have looked into the white colonization of black people’s bodies and minds you will see the Beyonce here is enforcing white dominance. She is the racialized woman who is giving up her body to the white colonizing male, reinforcing his “right” to the bodies of women of colour, in addition to those of white women. From a feminist perspective, she has reduced herself to her sexuality, this is patriarchal thinking about women as only sexual beings (not as citizens, workers, or human beings)! Not to mention how she tries so hard to look white (why is her hair always dyes blonde?), she sufffers from post-colonial syndrome (in which you want to become your oppressor, you feel they are your superior). This video is disgusting and so is Beyonce.
