Beyoncé’s got baby fever in a preview clip of her interview with Katie Couric for “20/20,” airing tonight at 10 p.m. on ABC.
During the sit-down, the mom-to-be spoke on the best thing about being pregnant and how she isn’t letting her food cravings get the best of her. “The best thing? I’ve been really conscious and I’ve been trying my best not to lose control, because I’ve met so many people that say ‘My second baby, my third baby, I learned my lesson,’” said B. “So I haven’t been going crazy. I know that it’s important that I don’t lose myself and I have my passion and I have things that I love. I believe that life doesn’t stop.”
Mrs. Carter, who showed Couric the offices of her production studio The Parkwood Group, also explained why she decided to perform four nights at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom in honor of her latest album 4.
“I felt like this music was so important to me and I wanted everyone to experience the music live, because it becomes something different,” she reflected. “It was. That was something important to me, because I think people get caught up in the music and the beat and the fun of the song, and they don’t realize that my music, it’s the story of my life. So telling the story was almost like telling my diary.”
