The reclusive superstar shared the first episode of his Watch the Throne tour diary entitled “World Leaders.” In the candid clip, he realizes that his power and influence transcend music. Fresh off his seven nominations at the Grammys, ‘Ye imagines what his funeral would be like and the illustrious guests that would attend. “I was just thinking about my funeral a couple days ago,” he ponders. “I was thinking, who would be at the funeral? I wanna have like world leaders that were affected, that said Kanye gave me my shot or he pushed me or he told me to believe in myself. I wanna affect people like that when I pass away.” Throughout the video, Kanye is seen reminiscing on the past, trying on clothes, and greeting old friends backstage at the Watch the Throne tour. He and Jay-Z take a photo with a kid who shaved “WTT” into his head in honor of their historic album and tour. He closes with a powerful message as he takes the stage at Madison Square Garden. “I wanna know that when I’m gone there’ll be 10 people that would go up and grab that mic. I wanna know that there’s warriors now.”
