Rap-Up.com || Jay-Z Hints at ‘Watch the Throne’ Sequel

Is a Watch the Throne sequel in the works? Jay-Z revealed that a follow-up to his history-making album with Kanye West could come as soon as next year.

When asked if we’ll see a solo album from him in 2012, Jay told MTV News, “Yeah, it depends on how this thing finishes up. We’re in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye, and a Throne album next year. We really found our zone.”

In the meantime, he and Kanye are still promoting WTT with a nationwide tour, which wraps in Vancouver on December 18. The album has received three Grammy nominations and landed among many critics best of the year lists.

i must say that would be epic 2 of my favorite artists! 2012 gonna be a great year for music! Missy Elliott Monica Lil Kim Nicki Minaj Willow Smith Cassie Diggy and alot more just most im looking forward 2! this year kinda sucked for music, 2012 im hopin somebody gotta album droppin every week!

@Mr.NYC, me too, i think next year jay should do release another solo album, kanye should do another solo also, THEN after all that they can release Watch the Throne 2 -later on down the line like in 2013…

I think another Watch The Throne album from Kanye West and Jay-Z would be good, but I want to see if Kanye West can make another solo album just as great as his last album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I want to see if Jay-Z can make another classic like The Blueprint. Jay-Z’s last album The Blueprint 3 was decent, but it could had been a lot better. Looking more forward to Kanye West’s next solo album, and Jay-Z’s next solo album than the second Watch The Throne album.
