Ruben Studdard returns with a cover of a classic. The “American Idol” champ puts his spin on Bobby Brown’s 1989 Don’t Be Cruel single “Rock Wit’cha,” turning the song into a soulful duet with a female vocalist. The remake serves as the lead single from his upcoming album Letters From Birmingham, due March 11 on Sanachie Records. Listen to the Velvet Teddy Bear take on the New Edition member.

[...] I’m really feeling this track. Hopefully Ruben can continue his career. He most certainly has talent otherwise he wouldn’t have won American Idol. I’m looking forward to hearing more from him! Source [...]
