Rap-Up.com || Young Jeezy Reveals His Top 5 Favorite Rappers

To promote Tuesday’s release of TM103: Hustlerz Ambition, Young Jeezy sat down for an interview with radio personality Nessa on the Bay Area’s WiLD 94.9. He was asked a rapid round of questions and revealed his top 5 favorite rappers, dead or alive. Jeezy’s list includes some Southern legends, a couple West Coast kingpins, and one of hip-hop’s most iconic figures. Find out which MCs he holds in high regard.

I guess everyone has their own taste, But I personally don’t even know who ‘B-Legit’ is, and I cant understand why juvenile and scarface are above Big or Nas or Jay

@John Doe, well, its known fact that scarface is one of the most respected rappers and one of the best lyricists ever (i seen a man die, mind playin tricks on me), he is in the same league with nas and all the best, so putting him in the same group as juvi shows how much u actually know about rap

These are the 5 rappers who influenced HIM the most, and it is evident if you listen to his music…he doesnt sound or rap like jay nas or big, also its refreshing that his list isnt like everyone elses

He said that these are his Top 5 FAVORITE Rappers. He didn’t say that these were the Top 5 MC’s. I’m sure that if this was about who the best MC’s were the list would be different.
