Rap-Up.com || Tyler, the Creator Arrested for Vandalism

Odd Future’s Christmas show didn’t end so merry and bright when frontman Tyler, the Creator was arrested on Thursday night for vandalism.

The 20-year-old rapper allegedly trashed some sound equipment while performing with his crew at The Roxy in West Hollywood, reports TMZ.

Staff at the venue called the police around 11:30 p.m. Tyler was handcuffed and taken into custody in front of his mother, who was visibly upset and reprimanded the cops.

In the fan-filmed footage posted online, Tyler is seen making his way to the soundboard before yelling at the audio engineer and tossing equipment in his direction.

His OFWGKTA affiliate Frank Ocean tweeted following the incident. “dem hoelice yo,” he wrote.

Tyler was previously arrested in May while promoting his solo album Goblin at a Los Angeles area high school.

How does his behavior allow him to be taken so seriously as an artist? Don’t get me wrong I am not bashing him by any means, I have loads of respect for him but he needs to watch out with the way he oftentimes presents himself. Too much is too much. The bitches at the ROXY turned Tyler’s mic off before the show was over because they thought fans were getting unruly. Tyler and the group told them to turn the mics back on and that’s when this went down. The biggest part of the show was never realized – It was CRAY.
