Beyoncé has motherhood on her mind these days, but the pregnant singer took some time out to share her favorite songs of the year. In a post on her official website, B revealed the 10 tracks that she couldn’t get enough of in 2011. The lineup includes her husband, fellow Destiny’s Child diva Kelly Rowland, three songs featuring Lil Wayne, and a surprise or two. Find out who made the B list.

Fyi Future is signed to Columbia (the record label she’s on) & he’s also from Texas, so I think those were contributing factors (although I understand why she might like the song; its kinda addictive). @ARYO, people can’t give credit where it is due. Man Down is a good song. It had great success (at least it did over here in the Netherlands). I can see why people don’t always like Rihanna, but, damn, California King Bed was the same sugary pop song we’ve been hearing for decades now. Man Down was fresh and dope.

Well, this list certainly gives possible reasoning as to why Beyonce’s latest album is failing to spark interest at Top 40/Pop radio. It appears she only listens to R&B and nothing else. I guess that’s her prerogative but it’s a bit narrow-minded.

@Pucci, It’s not narrow-minded to listen to R&B or any other kind of music but if that’s ALL someone listens to, that is in fact narrow-minded. Every song on this list is an R&B/Hip-hop song. It just seems strange that out of 10 songs, not a single one is a Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Electro, etc. song. Don’t get me wrong, I really like Beyonce’s music but she needs to be a bit more versatile in her sound if she wants to continue to stay relevant. If you think she doesn’t care about such a fact, you’re sorely mistaken. The more popular she is, the more money she makes and let’s face it, she doesn’t perform for free.
