The bottles will be popping and beats will be blaring as celebrities toast to the new year with celebrations across the country this weekend. Some will appear on television, while it will cost you a pretty penny to party with others like Chris Brown and Lauryn Hill at private events. From Las Vegas to New York City’s Times Square, find out where some of your favorite stars will be once the clock strikes midnight.

Nicki Minaj will ring in 2012 by performing her hits and new material on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” on Saturday night. Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber will perform live in Times Square as the ball drops, with pre-taped performances from Gym Class Heroes, Taio Cruz, Pitbull, LMFAO, and more. Ryan Seacrest, Jenny McCarthy, and Fergie will host.

Over on NBC, Drake will close out the year with a bang on “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly,” before playing a New Year’s show in Las Vegas the next day. Jessie J, Cee Lo Green, and The Roots will also take the stage during the two-hour special starting at 10 p.m.

J. Cole will party into the new year on MTV’s “NYE in NYC 2012,” airing live from Times Square. Mac Miller and Jason Derulo are also on the bill, with Demi Lovato and “Teen Wolf’s” Tyler Posey serving as co-hosts.

Vegas will be the place to be once again as Chris Brown counts down the final moments of 2011 at PURE. Bruno Mars will cash in at The Bank at Bellagio, Mary J. Blige will launch Tropicana’s new hotspot RPM, B.o.B will touch down at LAX at Luxor, and the newly engaged John Legend will raise a glass at Moon at the Palms. Fergie will host the opening of 1OAK at The Mirage, while her fellow Pea will.i.am will go hard across the Strip at Surrender at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.

California knows how to party with Lupe Fiasco, who will light up Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, while “Gucci Gucci” rapper Kreayshawn will headline a show in San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom.

Down South, Lauryn Hill will heat up Miami with a performance at Shelborne Beach Resort and Rick Ross will host a bash at Cameo.
