Rap-Up.com || Amber Rose Readies First Single with Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose is ready to make her mark on music. The model/socialite will release her debut single featuring her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa next week.

The song, entitled “Fame,” will premiere January 10 at 9 a.m. EST on PerezHilton.com. The black-and-white cover art features a profile of Rose’s shaved head.

“I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY!” said the 28-year-old, who rose to fame after dating Kanye West. “Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support.”

Rose explained the concept behind the track. “This is a very personal song to me that I wanted to record for my fans,” she added. “I want people to see the world from my eyes, you know, from BEHIND MY SHADES! It’s my interpretation of what it means to be ‘FAMOUS,’ which is not something superficial but instead being self-confident and happy with who you are.”

Honestly, I’m really excited. I’ve read comments from other bloggers bashing her and saying how terrible this is gonna be. But terrible or not, I respect her for doing it anyways. I mean, what if its actually not that bad? I hope its good, I want her to be a pop star :)

Nah I like Cassie no shade at all, but yall know what I’m saying lol. I hope the song is at least decent. There are many other ways she can get her ‘story’ out there, a documentary rather than a song would be more suited for getting people to see the world through her eyes. Compared to people who actually have worked on perfecting their craft and gained fame by themselves and not by smashing industry men, Amber hasn’t seen shit. Yes, of course, with fame comes hatred and all that jazz, but most of it she has brought upon herself. She doesn’t come off as slightly intelligent and uses this whole “girlpower” thing to make sure people will continue to like her, but other than that she doesn’t have much to offer, except for her beauty. Now it sounds like I’m completely bashing this woman and, in a way, I do have very low expectations for this, but I just wish women like Amber Rose would get a realitycheck and try to see their full potential. Fame is very temporary. Especially when you’re not legendary. When Amber’s beauty fades, which it will, and Wiz Khalifa is no longer the hottest out, people will forget about her and she’ll have to struggle to pay for the lifestyle she’s having right now. She could educate herself and become something that’s going to have longevity and something that’ll demand respect, but like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and all of these other women, she chooses to make herself look stupid with every move she makes. Leaking naked pictures, singing, saying that you and your boyfriend will be together forever when you are only ONE year into the relationship… This woman doesn’t know the real world. In a way I feel sorry for her. But if this is going to be a hot song, then I’ll aupplaud her and support her. But she really neeeds to come with it!

I am excited to hear this new song by Amber Rose. If the song is great, then I will say Amber Rose proved me wrong and she does have good singing talent. If the song is good, then it will prove to me that Amber Rose’s career will be no different than Cassie, and Amerie, and Ciara. If the song is terrible, and beyond horrible, then it will once again prove that Amber Rose is nothing more than a gold digging, no talented, video-vixen, attention whore, that’s all. The ball is Amber’s court, let’s see if her singing career turns out to be great. LMFAO.
