Beyoncé and Jay-Z sparked a frenzy when news of their baby girl’s birth made its way online late Saturday night. The couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, barely made it out of the womb before she was a trending topic on Twitter and lighting up blogs.

Fans and fellow celebrities reacted with joy and congratulatory messages across social networking sites. B’s sister Solange called her niece “the most beautiful girl in the world,” close friend Gwyneth Paltrow sent her love, Rihanna welcomed princess Carter, and Tyrese shared his blessings.

I hope the rumors are not true about that hospital holdin’ up other parents to see their new borns. One daddy is so mad about not seeing his premature twins, he’s demanding an apology from the couple.

It sucks, but i kind of don’t think it was B and J’s fault…it was the hospitals poor handling of the situation.

On the other hand, if B and J wanted privacy, why couldn’t they just brought the medical team to their home? I know she had a C-Section, but money talks…ya’ll know that. I feel for those parents that had kids this weekend.
