Melanie Fiona finds herself on the “Wrong Side of a Love Song” with her latest Motown-inspired tune. The Grammy-nominated singer debuted the soulful record live and now the studio version makes its way online. Melanie pours her heart out over the guitar riffs, showcasing her powerful pipes. After a few false starts, her sophomore album The MF Life is scheduled to arrive on May 8.

@Dawnexperience, LOL really? Melanie’s talent speaks for itself, no need to compare her to any other singer.
Geesh, if that girl had a dollar for everytime someone brought her name up for NO apparent reason she’d be a millionaire…
Oh, wait… Nevermind. LOL

She deserves more fame than she has. She is known, but she does not sell like she should. She has an amazing and voice and is one of the few artist of this generation that can truly sing.

@@chrischris1992, exactly and this is where the problem starts. I think her label is trying to make her more mainstream and that explains all these albums push backs because they’re trying to get her a hit single and want her to sell more records. I hope she doesn’t sell out and keeps to making music like this because this is REAL R&B. I LOVVVEEE Melanie Fiona!!

Melanie Fiona is amazing and she sounds very soulful. She doesn’t sound like Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, or anyone else. It has the Motown-esque feel and that is all!
Welcome Back Melanie Fiona.
