« New Music: K’naan f/ Nelly Furtado – ‘Is Anybody Out There?’Video: Cali Swag District – ‘Burn Out (Drive Fast)’ »SWV to Release First Album in 15 Years![]() The ladies of SWV are making a comeback. The ’90s R&B trio, known as Sisters With Voices, will release their first studio album in nearly 15 years this spring.
I Missed Us, the follow-up to 1997’s Release Some Tension, is due April 17 via eOne Music/Mass Appeal Entertainment. The first single, “Co-Sign” produced by Lamb (Beyoncé, Monica), is picking up spins at radio, while members Taj, Lelee, and Coko have been in the studio with Bryan-Michael Cox and Jazze Pha finishing the album. “It’s a great feeling to be back recording together again!” said the ladies in a statement. “Something special always happens when we come together.” SWV released its debut album It’s About Time in 1992. The album went multi-platinum and spawned R&B classics such as “I’m So Into You,” “Right Here,” “Downtown,” “Weak,” and “You’re Always on My Mind.” You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 39 CommentsLeave a Reply

@eXtreme.com, Actually TLC was the greatest R&B/POP group. If Left-Eye would have never died they still would have been the greatest. R.I.P Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez. DC didn’t get their shine until TLC left the picture.

@TOMMY, I 2nd THAT!! because SWV was way AHEAD of their game with TLC back in the days!! If these ladies didn’t pave the way back then there would be no Destiny’s Child, Blaque, 702, etc…

Omg! I had their debut forever, well I stole my mom’s tape when I was 9 and eventually bought my own copy from iTunes. I just got into their other two albums as well, I’m so excited. I may only be 21, but I loved those ladies.
