Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj, Tyga, & Bow Wow Lead YMCMB’s 2012 Releases

Young Money-Cash Money bombarded the charts last year with platinum releases from Lil Wayne and Drake, but they’re not done yet. Over the next few months, hip-hop’s reigning crew will return with albums from Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Bow Wow, and Lil Twist.

First up, Tyga will unleash Careless World: Rise of the Last King to stores on February 21. With “Rack City” and “Still Got It” getting spins at radio, the Cali rapper continues to seize airwaves with “Faded” featuring Lil Wayne. The star-studded set is expected to include collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Big Sean, J. Cole, Nas, Wale, and Robin Thicke.

Originally scheduled to drop last fall, Bow Wow is now eyeing a March 13 date for his seventh solo album Underrated, which features heavy-hitters such as Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Jadakiss, Musiq Soulchild, and Boyz II Men.

One week later on March 20, 19-year-old MC Lil Twist makes his debut with Don’t Get It Twisted led by the Busta Rhymes-assisted single “Turn’t Up.” Justin Bieber, Drake, and Nicki Minaj fill out the guest list.

On April 3, the ~~red~~ pink carpet will roll out for the sophomore album from Young Money’s First Lady, Nicki Minaj. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, the follow-up to her 2010 breakthrough debut, has already spawned the singles “Roman in Moscow” and “Stupid Hoe.” In addition to her feisty alter ego, look for a surprise guest or two.

Hmm i do believe that Nicki and Tyga will defo release their albums even though tyga’s album has been pushed back numerous time. Sorry but Bow Wow wont release anything, he has been giving his ‘fans’ release dates since early 2010. Lil Twist… hmm probs will release it but i cant see it doing well.

Tyga has a top 10 record in the country with Rack City, he’s definitely up next. Will probably do Wale/J.Cole-ish type numbers and creep towards gold. Which is great in this market, it’ll give YMCMB a solid 2nd tier star to go along with their 3 platinum-plus A-List superstars. Nicki’s album might threaten 1mil first week…no other label is seeing them right now, not really close

This David Guetta song is helping people get pass her singles & she’ll drop a jewel soon to make people forget COMPLETELY. Either way the girl has die-hards out there that’ll buy a track she sneezed on…
I’m not one (any more) but I respect the #’s she does & the moves she makes…

Bow Wow has way better lyrics then Tyga. Who would choose that one over the other? Bow Wow’s been pushed back before but without promo. He did every hip hop mag, music channel, and single drop this week. He’s the only YMCMB 2012 artist loaded up to release

Tyga has never had an impressive lyric..his best line was “eff love I’m tired of trying” in Dueces and “in the mo(u)rning like Alonzo” from “Rack City”

Most interested in Bow Wow. Of the three he’s more of an actual veteran. He has a few platinum albums and BET just had that special on him. He’s still a easily casted actor. All that means is there is star power there (since 2001) so he’s DEFINITELY going to have an album. His pushbacks don’t mean much because he never released a single.

Nicki Minaj had two supposed singles that didn’t get the reaction the label wanted to she decided they didn’t count and is doing a new single and a two MONTH album pushback…….that’s scarier for an artist ..

Bow Wow “Underrated” he always puts out good albums.

Tyga is kind of boring. He has good beats but he said his album won’t sound like “Rack City” so it’ll probably have less dance/club songs and rely on his rapping.
Bow Wow paved the way for under 25 year olds to have successes back to back. Can’t support Ty and not Bow.

only album i will be waiting for is Bow Wow’s been a fan ever since he came out,and if you go to his site he explains all the push back reasoning and what music vet don’t have push back dates. Bow Wow is maturing and he wants he’s new album to be perfect and let people know he’s image is not that squeaky clean one that everyone expects him to be. Your also forgetting he has a child now and was going through some ruff times like everyone does. I truly believe that this will be Bow Wow’s hit album. Now Nikki she doesn’t really rap that good can’t even rhyme Tyga only says one word in that new song of his , at least Bow Wow knows how to rhyme and say more than one thing in his song like most rappers these days do . And also remember he’s 24 not 13 anymore so you guys will def be surprise when his album comes out.

Only one that has possibility to have a good album is Bow Wow. And remember numbers do not equal talent and quality of an album. Just saying. Nicki needs to do better than her three recent songs, inluding the one with Guetta. Tyga and Twist…i’m not too fussed about them.
