Rap-Up.com || Exclusive: Brandy and Monica to Perform at Pre-Grammy Gala

Brandy and Monica delighted their fans by debuting their new single “It All Belongs to Me” on Monday. And now the R&B divas will team up to perform the song live at the Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills this weekend.

Rap-Up.com has learned that the singers will take the stage at the star-studded affair, considered the highlight of Grammy weekend. This year’s event, hosted by Clive Davis, will honor Sir Richard Branson and feature other surprise musical guests. Past performers include Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys.

Brandy and Monica will shoot a video for the Rico Love-produced song on February 13 with director Chris Robinson, and perform it on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” the same week.

“It’s just great to come back and do something with [Monica],” Brandy said during an interview on Atlanta’s V-103. “This is definitely a blessing.”

I can’t wait to see them sing this song live even tho the lyrics are O_o, It’s still a great song vocally. I don’t mean to start competition but I think Brandy’s intricate singing style outshines Monica’s vocals. Live she won’t be able to keep up with Brandy.

This is awesome news.. In the beginning, I wasn’t too thrilled with Monica doing another duet with brandy.. I’m just not a fan of hers, but I gotta admit, the attention this songs been recieving, & the promo has no doubt been great!! It was definitely a smart move for both ladies. NEW LIFE!!! 4/3

@Oblivia, Monica sings like a frog live. I think shes better off lip singing. Brandy always keeps it R&B, she dont need to sing like a monster to show people that she can sing loud. Monica just does too much with her vocals some times Monica needs too think befor she sings, she gets lost and dont know how to find her way back home.

I’m scared Brandy is going to destroy mojica live again just like she did @the MTV VMA in 1998, I hope they let mojica lipsing or at least dub the performance after cuz is not vocally fair lol btwn I LOVE the song, is HOT & is a HIT!

I think it’s interesting how Brandy fans continue to shade Mon when Bran hasn’t had a hit in ages. Mon saved this from being another generic album filler (i.e. Brandy’s entire catalogue).
