On the sixth anniversary of J Dilla’s death, Big Sean pays homage to the Detroit producer with a freestyle over “Two Can Win” off Dilla’s 2006 album Donuts.
“In honor of J. Dilla being one of the most influential producers of all time, I decided to lay a verse to one of my favorite tracks off of J. Dilla’s Donuts,” wrote the G.O.O.D. Music rapper. “Being from Detroit I feel I have a responsibility to honor his legacy n continue it in my own way. His soul will live forever… RIP J. Dilla.”

More than half of the track is ad-libbing. It was getting slightly interesting at the end of the first verse, but this just goes to prove SO FEW can live up to J Dilla’s production. This was underwhelming.
