« Azealia Banks Lights Up London Fashion WeekRick Ross Tops MTV News’ ‘Hottest MCs in the Game’ List »Kelly Rowland & Stevie Wonder Cover Whitney Houston’s ‘Greatest Love of All’![]() Kelly Rowland paid tribute to a late legend while performing with a living legend. The R&B diva graced the stage at Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday celebration over the weekend with a cover of Whitney Houston’s 1986 classic “The Greatest Love of All,” accompanied by Stevie Wonder on piano. The song was originally recorded by George Benson for the 1977 Muhammad Ali biopic The Greatest. The Destiny’s Child diva shared memories of meeting Houston early in her career. “I remember the first time I met her, she was just such an angel and so supportive and had great words of encouragement to say about the music industry,” she said. “To meet such an icon and a legend like her, you’re just like, ‘I was in her presence.’” Watch her honor one of her inspirations with a heartfelt performance.

Wow.
This rendition was sickening. King B would be so proud of her sister for giving an excellent vocal here and Whitney, my God, she would be humbled and honored.

Let’s be honest many of us aren’t realy behind her because So many time she dissapointed us.
But seriously don’t you think it’s just the real Kelly singing here, Confidente effortless. Just the Kells of the very beginning of DC. What’s hapenning all theses years.
My opinion : She Lost her confident years after years.
Why? : Good questions
If you look the past her performances live, You can clearly see that she wasn’t prepared to be a lead singer not because she couldn’t do it but because in her own head she doubt of a abbilities.
Anyway all i can say Kelly you need to believe in yourself, in your tone and your way of singing.
I see you Mama!!!

No one can touch whitney and bitches are in line to take the christal shoe but no cinndrella in sight! Nice try nappy hair!
Can we have another DC album?
That will entertain the kids!
…and the grown folks can get back to En Vogue, Brwonstone and SWV!
Peace

@jamie, if Kelly was supposed to give a tribute on my dying bed, I would think twice about dying! LMAO
For years she has produced nothing but generic R&B and low quality lyrics…from “No No No”, “Bills Bills Bills” to Motivation…she has not slightest chance to even come close to Whitneys talent…Why should i listen to this crap if we have surpreme vocalists like Tamia, Shanice, Chante Morre, Deborah Cox and Co. ?????
and now…Sit down!

I AGREE with Jenica – haters need to listen to “Unity” by Kelly and they will be convinced how good of a singer she really is ! In my opinion, it’s one of her best vocal recordings.
