Video: Gorillaz f/ André 3000 & James Murphy – ‘DoYaThing’
André 3000 steps into another dimension in the video for “DoYaThing,” his collaboration with Gorillaz and DJ James Murphy for Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” series. Directed by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, the mesmerizing clip combines the animated world of the Gorillaz with real-life footage. Gorillaz members Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle, and Russel star alongside characterized versions of Three Stacks and Murphy.
In a recent interview with GQ, André shut down reports of a new OutKast album, but did confirm that he is working on a solo project. “I’m going to get back to having fun,” he told the magazine.

Love Andre’s rap but expected more from Damon Albarn. Not as catchy as I thought it would be and the video – although it’s really arty – doesn’t do anything for the song.
